Community Service at AMHS:

• As stated on the school's community service form,
  "Each student is required to complete a minimum of 30 community service hours each year and should have:
  ● 30 hours of community service due by May 1 of the 9th grade year.
  ● 60 total hours of community service due by May 1 of the 10th grade year.
  ● 90 total hours of community service due by May 1 of the 11th grade year."
• If you obtain over 30 hours in one academic year, that's great! However, the extra hours DO NOT count towards your service requirements for the following year.
• You CAN get ahead on service hours by starting them over the summer.
• The AMHS Counseling Website contains a lot of helpful information about community service!

When you are recording your community service hours, you must complete and have the person in charge sign the form below.
